Sometimes leading is quietly executed . . .

January 5, 2005

To be a leader is to be witness to "what's so" in your environment.

Leadership can be like a "sine wave" of consciousness and unconsciousness. It is in those periods of consciousness that leaders quietly observe "what's so" in their environment. This is a "selfless" act - it is an act of observing the "workability" of the environment.
