leader or manager . . . . hmmmmmmmmmm

You still can't tell the difference ? That is - the difference between when one is showing up like a leader and when one is showing up like a manager.

I think Warren Bennis has nailed it - he says "the difference between a leader and a manager is like the difference between someone that has mastered the context and someone that has surrendered to the context".

Where have you mastered the context and where are you surrendering to the context? That is - where have you created a framework that shapes the actions and where are you being shaped by a framework?

And while you are at it - where is a framework missing and/or obsolete and therefore producing action but not the actions that will actually make a difference for you, others or the future of the business?
